What we believe
Our Vision Statement
We gather as a congregation to love God, love others, and make disciples of Jesus Christ.
our mission Statement
We will love God…
- by worshiping Him with our whole hearts.
- by growing in our relationship with Him.
- by serving Him as we have been gifted by the Holy Spirit.
- by honoring and respecting the authority of His Word, the Bible.
- by gathering regularly for mutual encouragement.
- by treating each other with integrity and mutual respect.
- by helping each other with prayer, godly counsel and material support.
- by reaching out to others beyond our fellowship with the gospel message and deeds of compassion.
- by making our fellowship a welcoming environment for people who are not yet believers in Christ.
- by frequently inviting people to receive Christ as Savior and Lord.
- by supporting the proclamation of the gospel locally and throughout the world.
- by encouraging each other to be in at least one mentoring relationship or disciple-building group.
DOCTRINAL Statement
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; Creator of heaven
and earth, of all things seen and unseen, and His Kingdom will have no end.
We confess that Jesus Christ is truly God and truly man.
We confess that the Holy Spirit indwells the believer at salvation (I Corinthians 3:16).
We hold that the Bible is the inerrant written Word of God, the infallible rule of faith and practice of the church of
Jesus Christ. (2 Timothy 3:16)
We affirm that the central content of the Scriptures is the gospel of reconciliation and redemption to God through the atoning sacrifice of Christ and His glorious resurrection from the grave. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory
of God" (Romans 3:23).
We confess that the mission of the church is to bear witness to God's law and gospel in our words and deeds. We are sent into the world as Disciples of Christ to glorify God in every area of life. “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. ..." (Matthew 28:19).
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. "Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1).
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ. (Ephesians 4:3)
We honor the solemn practice of the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of Christ’s atonement.
